Currently, UNP funds four pilot program partnerships teams made up of University of Utah researchers that focus on developing sustainable strategies that will increase higher education as a personal option for youth living on Salt Lake City’s west side. The Pilot Programs partners are:

• U of U LEAP and West High School
  
  
• U of U College of Education and Jackson Elementary School Dual Immersion Kindergarten (Adelante)
  
  
• Salt Lake Community College Math Department and Washington Elementary School Sixth grade girls from the Open Classroom (funded by SLCC)
  
  
• U of U David Eccles School of Business Opportunity Program and Glendale Middle School
